A Healthy Alternative to Ice Cream!

Looking for yogurt smoothie recipes that are both easy and quick to make? When you're craving ice cream, try one of these smoothies instead for a healthy alternative.

Banana Cream Smoothie

One scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1 Tablespoon half-n-half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup ice

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

Mango Yogurt Smoothie

One scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup fresh or frozen mango
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1/2 cup ice

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Power Smoothie

One scoop orange fiber powder
1/4 cup applesauce
2/3 cup cold water
1/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt
4-6 ice cubes ice

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

Peachy Dream Yogurt Smoothie

One scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup fresh or frozen peaches
1/2 banana
1/2 cold water
1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup ice

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
