My Weight Loss Story - Liquid Diet

I really didn't decide to lose weight. Actually at the time my doctor was always telling me I needed to gain weight. I had no choice but to lose weight at the time. I thought sharing this may help those that are trying to lose weight.

What happened was I had a problem with my jaw. I think they called it TMJ and I couldn't chew my food without locking up my jaw. For a couple of months I could only have liquefied food. I lost more than enough weight then.

It may not sound appealing but it really wasn't that bad. For instance I would cook broccoli and cauliflower with cheese sauce, and then put it in a blender. Everything I ate went into a blender to more or less liquefy it. This did cut out the steak and pork chops of course but that was ok.

I didn't really watch what I ate like counting calories or anything like that. I think that if your body doesn't have to work as hard at digesting what you eat it tends not to turn into fat as easily.

I was very active at the time as well, so exercise did have a role in the weight loss as well. Green Tea will also help with weight loss. It's really good for you too.

I have also recently purchased a power juicer. It's a great way to get all the nutrients you need and then some. When the items you eat are not prepackaged or preprepared you will not have all the extra sugars and everything else thats added to our foods. This is where a lot of the weight gain comes in.

I guess all in all, watch what you eat and give liquefying a try. If it doesn't work for you at least you tried. I wish you luck and hope you achieve the results your looking for.

Right now I'm about 20 lbs over what I'd like my weight to be and am really thinking about giving it a try myself again. My main problem is now I work from home and don't exercise or get out very often anymore. Especially with winter here the outdoor activities such as walking or hiking have dwindled down to nothing.

Now that I've written this I think I'm ready and it's a perfect time to start. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I think I just motivated myself as well!!!!

Good luck to all that are trying to lose weight. Remember where there is will, there is always a way. If a particular diet or exercise doesn't work for you don't get discouraged, there are always other things you can try. Just don't give up and think positive.
