My Teen Weight Loss Story

When I was in elementary school, I didn't really care about my outer looks, because no one really does at that age. Weight loss wasn't on my mind.

I am 19 years old and now currently in college. And when you enter college, all of all I attend a women's college, you tend to notice that everyone cares about their figure and looks. Everyone is beauty conscious and henceforth you also tend to be conscious. You start with your diet control, reduce the consumption of junk foods, go in for regular gym and work out everyday.

Trust me, even I did all of this. But my mom suggested me to consult a dietitian and when I did, I was asked to diet but not avoid food totally as it would lead to ulcer, giddiness, and drastic loss of weight.

I was advised to work out for an hour daily. So I opted to go for aerobics and gym classes. I reduced consuming carbohydrates and fats and thereby increasing the intake of minerals, proteins and vitamins.

I followed this for 60 days and lost around seven kilograms of weight. Doing aerobics helped me to maintain a perfect figure after I lost the weight.
