My c section recovery experience....

by Marcy

Give yourself credit for the small accomplishments and positive affirmations. Don't compare yourself to other mothers who didn't have a c-section to recovery from or celebrities because everyone's body and recovery is different.

Breastfeeding helped me recover although it was painful I found the right positions, mostly laying. When Breastfed with baby over lap it hurt just from the weight of baby on my mid region and when I laid on side it hurt because my baby boy would always kick my tummy.

Investing in a mya wrap 60 bucks www.happillyheld.com can help hold baby in position so your hands free and baby does not need to be laying on your core. Pillows lots of pillows. Hold one to your tummy is you sneeze or cough and do your kegels.
