My favorite yoga exercise is anulom vilom
I like the anulom vilom because it is the only exercise in yoga which benefits the whole body. As described in historical books this exercise mainly effects the respiratory system, which in turn effects all the systems of the body. Because if our respiratory organs are healthy, then other organs also become healthy. This exercise does not need need too much effort, we just have to breathe in and out with one nostril closed.
I started doing yoga after seeing my mother. My mom had pain in her back and she had good results from yoga. So she taught me some of the basic exercises of yoga to keep my body fit. Now yoga is benefiting me a lot.
The exercise, which I have told of, has several other benefits besides the respiratory system. This exercise, the anulom vilom enhances the circulation of blood in our body...regular exercisers have experienced relief from blood pressure problems from this exercise. This exercise also enhances the working of stomach by making the muscles of stomach strong.
