If not, you will want to discuss this question with your doctor. One question you might want to ask him about is finding out if there are certain nutrients that you need more of in your diet. One thing that you can try is an abdominal stretch before and after every abs exercise. A good way to stretch and relax your abdominal muscles is to lay on the floor on your stomach and push up with your arms leaving your hips on the floor until you feel a strain (not pain) in your stomach muscles.
