Not loving it anymore...

We got the Magic Bullet as a gift and it looked great!! We sent our old blender to the attic and started using our MB for shakes and sauces. The small size was perfect for our cluttered kitchen. Easy to clean and not as noisy as the old blender.

After a couple of months, we started noticing a small leak every now and then, so we were careful that it was tight before blending anything. Lately, even when tight, the motor is loosening the cap off the jars, making a mess in the motor base. I've opened and cleaned the motor inside the base at least twice, but this is turning into a PITA, having to clean the mess on the counter and inside the blender base. I've read about people breaking the blade bases when trying to put them really tight. The first time I opened it, I drilled the vent holes bigger, to increase the amount of warm air coming out, as overheating was also a common concern to other users. But with the continuing spills... I guess our old blender will come back from the attic very soon...
