I'm-a-50-year-old-back-stretcher!

by Robin

I love my bean for stretching my spine/back. I tried an exercise ball and couldn't stay on the doggone thing (or if I did stay on, I couldn't figure out how to get off without plummeting to the ground!).

When I turn the Bean "upside down" in the "hump shape", I can lay my back over it with my feet on one end and my head at the other and get the most excellent stretches. And I can do this without fear of falling off with a thud as I did with a regular round ball.

If you do have to flop off the bean to the floor, it's a more "delicate" plummet... It's just plain safer than a round ball and I get a TERRIFIC stretch. After sitting all day at desk, I can't wait to get home from work and stretch and decompress my back.

It's absolute heaven. Plus the thing is very strong - I've had it blown up for about a year now and no air has seeped out. I'm a big girl and it hasn't popped yet, and I roll around on there pret-near every day to stretch my back.

And when we're not using it to stretch, it makes a comfy foot stool whilst watching TV - LOL! Another reviewer said the prices were $20 for a round ball and $50 for a Bean. Well for me the Bean is worth the extra $$... Honest.
