My Secret

I don't feel anything with my abs exercise - Help!

When I do abdominal exercises, I don't feel anything afterwards. I haven't done them in so long that I would think that I would be sore after doing them. What am I doing wrong?

One thing you want to do when performing abs exercise is to first tighten your abs by doing an isometric exercise.

It's pretty simple.

One of my colleague's calls it the "beach body exercise." He says this because most people suck in their abs when walking on the beach and this exercise is very similar.

Think about pulling in your belly button towards your spine by tightening your abs. Now hold this while you do the abs exercise of your choice.

I bet you'll feel more and get a better result with your abs exercise when you do this first. Try it and let me know what you think!

Helping you reach your fitness potential,
Shelley
